Research Confirms Power of Prayer

Research is indicating there truly is power in prayer. At Mid America Heart Institute in Kansas City, Missouri, researchers recruited a team of Christians to pray for half the patients admitted to the coronary care unit. All new patients were randomly assigned to one of two groups—those who received normal treatment, and those who were prayed for. Over one year, those who received prayer fared better than those who did not.
