National Alzheimer’s Study Offers Tips
A new report on Alzheimer’s disease highlights "challenges and opportunities"
posed by Alzheimer’s and related disorders. The report, which is titled
"Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders: A Legislative Guide" and was
issued by the National Conference of State Legislators, focuses on how
state legislators and others can help people afflicted with the disease.
Secretary of Elder Affairs, Lillian Glickman, chair of the Governor’s
Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders, said that
the Council has addressed many of the issues raised in the report.
Copies of the report are available by calling the National Conference
of State Legislators at 303-830-2200.
