High-Carb Breakfast Improves Memory in Elderly 

The Journal of Clinical Nutrition recently reported that elderly people who ate 50 grams of carbohydrates at breakfast experienced improved memory function. 

Long-term memory was the most effected, and individuals who had slight problems with glucose regulation at the outset received the most benefit.
