Grounds: Adultery; cruelty orviolence; desertion; drug/alcohol addiction; impotency;nonsupport; any other gross/repugnant behavior.

Residency: One party resident 1year; if based on defendantŐs residency, he must be personallyserviced with process.

Waiting Period: Final decree enteredanytime within 30 days or 3 months from decision date.

No Fault: Irretrievable breakdown;separation.

Defenses: Collusion.

Prohibited Marriages: Marriage ofidiot or lunatic absolutely void; between ancestor anddescendant, stepparent and stepchild, parent-in-law and son- ordaughter-in-law; parent or parent-in-law and son- ordaughter-in-law, brother and sister, uncle and niece, aunt andnephew; special exceptions for Jewish marriages allowed by Jewishreligious law.
